Principle Objective:
Design a battery management system for our rotorcraft vehicle, Project VANGUARD
Requirements:
The system shall be able to accommodate 24V
Stems from being able to accommodate a 6s battery
The system shall be capable of calculating currents of up to 40 A continuous
The requirement stems from Motor Calculations
Goals:
Rev 1:
The system will accommodate requirements (1) and (2)
The system shall utilize an IC capable of monitoring at least 6 cells, and provide passive balancing and current sense capabilities for SOC estimation.
Other features such as over/under protection are not currently necessary.
Rev 2:
