 Instructions

  1. Find days that work for the pilot-in-charge. Generally Saturdays or Sundays work best. Use the flight-staging channel to discuss

  2. Check the WRESTRC calendar to see what days are available. You’re looking for availability in the “General Training Ground” or “General Training Ground 2” and “Skid Pad”

  3. Email the University of Waterloo Coordinator, bdacosta@uwaterloo.ca, to book the dates. Be sure to include time as well, 4-6 hours is generally fine. You can specify that we only need a training ground and the skid pad.

  4. Create a Flight Request with booked dates and add it into the google calendar

  5. Pick up the WRESTRC key before the test flight to let you into the gate. The Dean of Engineering reception Alex Patrik will have the key. Pick it up anytime Mon-Friday between 8:30-12PM and 1PM-430PM, Location: E7-7302. (Note: Currently in the bay we have 2 sets of WRESTRC key)

  6. Drop the key off after the test flight to Alex anytime Mon-Friday between 8:30-12PM and 1PM-430PM, Location: E7-7302.

You may need to follow up with Laura a couple days later! She’s pretty busy but doesn’t mind a reminder.
