To Update:

1. Check in all your changes on PDM, delete the PDM view from your files by right clicking and selecting delete (if you have PDM set up)

2. Follow these instructions to clean uninstall Solidworks: Performing a Clean Uninstall

3. Follow the installation instructions below

To Install Solidworks:

1. Make sure you have been provided with the serial number by a mech lead

2. Got to: http://www.solidworks.com/SEK and complete the form (first name, last name, email address, select “student team” on dropdown)

   1. Under product information:

      1. Select Yes ( I already have a serial number)

      2. Choose 2024 version

      3. Input the correct serial number

3. Follow the installer instructions here: Solidworks PDM Set Up

4. When you open Solidworks and are prompted to switch Hole Wizard tool path, check “don’t show again” and click no

5. Set up your default templates: Setting Solidworks Default Templates

6. If you have problems with PDM, read through Common PDM Issues and Solutions , if none of these help please send a message in discord and we will do our best to help troubleshoot.
