Responsibilities
As a lead, here are your primary responsibilities:

Expectations

Follow Team Charter (2021-2024)
Deliver on your team's objectives that are developed
Basically, deliver what your team is responsible for
Lead subteam relevant meetings
Subteam Meetings
Weekly weekday re-occurring subteam meeting.
Weekend re-occurring weekly meetings are discouraged.
Subteam meetings will be scheduled and organized at the start of every term to prioritize subteam lead and member availability.
Scheduling should be finalized with Calendar by lead.
Booking (if necessary) and documenting meeting location in the calendar is expected.
The bay is recommended for smaller subteam and if there aren’t any other meetings or work sessions at that time, otherwise, booking a separate (larger) room is necessary.
Booking rooms: Booking Rooms
Please note that all subteam meetings should be hybrid online and in-person when possible.
If all subteam leads for a subteam are offsite, please do your best to organize a subteam member to be an onsite lead who can facilitate onsite meetings
Onsite meetings help grow community and are great for Culture
Work Sessions
Weekly work sessions are optional, but heavily encouraged.
If subteam leads are hosting a work session then it should be scheduled and organized at the start of every term to prioritize subteam lead and member availability.
Should take place hybrid in the bay and online.
Scheduling should be finalized with Calendar is the role of the lead.
Leading these sessions can be delegated out to project managers.
Spontaneous Meetings
Spontaneous meetings and work sessions can absolutely be on weekends.
These are non-reoccurring meetings that can be scheduled at any time
Participation in infrequent non-scheduled meetings where you can engage with your members and check in on their progress and provide sufficient mentorship is expected.
Maintain a knowledge base for team members to learn about fundamentals
Knowledge bases help newer members learn about fundamentals and provide an easy way for you to teach younger members. Get your members to add to it and watch it slowly grow. This also serves as a good marketing tool
