Workshops

Introduction

Workshops should allow students from any sub-team to enhance their knowledge about drone-related or sub-team specific information! This document covers the justification for workshops and some ideas!

Explanation

Workshops allow leads to demonstrate something once to many people which saves the leads time teaching as they don’t have to teach everyone individually! For this reason it is a tool used as a part of the Knowledge Transfer Pipeline . Further, it keeps everyone engaged, Keep WARG Engaging! .

Prior knowledge should not be assumed even if it was covered in a previous workshop because not everyone can attend all workshops for scheduling challenges. We recommend workshops be accompanied with a slide deck in accordance with Data Handling so those interested after can read it! Because WARG as a volunteer student organization has relatively high turnover and lots of new members please do not delete any ideas from the below list even after a workshop has been done as we will likely redo that workshop in the coming years. If you think of any ideas please add them here!
