Proposal

Define a concise value proposition for our team that we can reuse in cases like this. Value proposition should center around what we do for our students and the technology we're developing rather than our performance.

The Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group (WARG) is a team of passionate students developing autonomous aerial vehicles capable of performing various tasks. WARG will be competing in the annual Unmanned Systems Canada Student Competition this May.

2. An overview of what we're developing over the season and our timeline. This should be strictly informative for the business team to craft proposals rather than a value proposition. Business team should use this to describe what we're doing with the money at a high level.

This term, we are currently working on prototypes and test runs in preparation for the competition. This year has shown that we must be able to adapt to different scenarios and situations. There was a lot to be learned this year. With university opening back up, more people are in person, and we are looking to take advantage of this opportunity. During this season we will need money to fund our various activities. We are currently in the process of creating our 2022 Aircraft. Currently we have three things that we need funding for in order to create this aircraft. This includes the gimbal, grabber and the frame. All of these things require money for the prototyping stage as well as for the manufacturing and designing stages.

In WARG our main priority is student learning. Two of our current projects which include Project Spike and ZeroPilot. Project Spike is the current aircraft that students are currently constructing. They get to be involved in making the protoypes, designing, testing as well as the coding aspect for this. ZeroPilot is our own custom built autopilot system. This is a great experience for students as this helps them learn about how to set up a first-person autopilot system which is very unique. Whether we fail or succeed we make sure our students to learn lifelong skills and be able to take something away from this club that can be applicable to the future.
