University of Waterloo WARG Sponsorship Update

I am contacting you on behalf of the Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group with an update on our team's performance and major milestones over the past year.
Last summer, our team began developing a new competition quadcopter, Project Pegasus. This project aimed to create a sub-scale passenger transportation system to traverse long distances and land autonomously within a tight timeframe. We focused on using the lessons learned from last year's competition to produce a new and improved solution. Our team members have worked hard over the past ten months to design, build, and test a seamlessly integrated system.
Last week, we competed at the Aerial Evolution Association of Canada (AEAC) Student Competition against several other Canadian universities. We are pleased to report that Pegasus flew all events successfully and secured first place overall. Our final standings are as follows:
1st in design paper
2nd for realism
3rd for project pitch
1st for endurance flight
1st for autonomous landing
