Bootcamper Learning Goals
Bootcamper Learning Goals
Overview
The Autonomy bootcamp’s goal is to familiarize bootcampers with the Autonomy subteam’s:
Tools and processes
Feedback and standards
Good coding practices
Software environments
Airside system:
ML model and inference
Decision logic and state machine
Interaction with black box systems through its APIs
Searching for documentation
Using the provided library interfaces
The tasks have well defined interfaces and detailed descriptions of the desired behaviour. The implementation to achieve this is left open ended for the bootcamper.
Skipping
If the bootcamper has a project that demonstrates all of these learning goals, then there is a strong case to allow them to skip the bootcamp. This is on an individual basis at the discretion of the subteam leads.
