Mechanical

Task 2 Plan:

  • Objective:

    • Payload will have 1 (possibly 2) servo motors, inform EE for wiring purposes

    • Space for IR camera, sensors, autonomy must request for more space if necessary

    • Filters for IR camera to be set up

  • Timeline:

    • Changes to payload made through January, will set hard deadline

      • Aim for design end of January

      • IR camera and Pi required for autonomy testing in Feb

Autonomy

Task 1 Plan:

  • Objective: Detect beacons and create KML file autonomously.

    • 3 components to be tested on Houston

    • Cluster this weekend, camera driver next weekend, full system test on Feb 1/2 weekend

  • Timeline:

    • Tests done on Houston then run for Pegasus

    • Post-midterms used for comp sim and Pegasus 2 testing

Electrical

  • Finalize thoughts on CAN servo as part of comp and as a subsequent task for EFS

EFS

  • Lighting Board Project

    • Still planned for comp

    • Higher priority for POR for EE, existing backup boards as well

Flight Testing

  • CV camera for this weekend’s flight test

  • Set aside personal time for EFS Houston/Dallas tuning for learning purposes

    • Figure out personnel to take on tuning responsibilities

    • Plan is to tune Pegasus before comp to attempt Task 2
