Equipment Failure: VANGUARD

Due to the complicated nature of project VANGUARD, it is required to check over the equipment that can fail.

• Battery

  • Do not fly the battery if it appears dead or below the minimum voltage. Low battery signs should not be ignored and the drone should be landed ASAP

• Power Distribution System

  • Do not fly the PDB if solder connections appear unsafe

• Props

  • Ensure the props are structurally stable and are able to be used safely

• Minipix

  • Ensure that minipix is armed and safe for flight
