3D Print Queue Instructions: Solidworks PDM
To get parts printed on our Prusa or the RPC Prusa printers it is preferred that you create G-Code for your part (or parts) by following these guidelines: 3D Printing Guidelines and Bambu Labs + Prusa Instructions. If you can’t get Prusa slicer, instead just export your part as an STL. Please ensure your design has been reviewed and approved before adding it to the print queue.
Once you have your file:
Put it on the WARG-CAD PDM server under 3D Print Queue and either GCode or STL depending on your file.
Fill in relevant info in this spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Q_br9GBNeDQyoC_tTMmVR7JwFED_s-bB0_7Q1zc3o6I/edit#gid=0
If you see the printer empty, check the print queue and follow the requirements for the part with the shortest time until the deadline. Don’t just print your part next! The point of the queue is to help us prioritize the parts we need the soonest.
If you believe your part needs to be a higher priority than something already in the queue, ping a mech lead and they will decide how the queue should be modified.
