Next Flight Test

@Evan Janakievski

2025-03-07 is the next flight test.

Have a limited number of spots, but could use another driver if you have a car :d

Will be a comp critical flight test, so Peggy 2 will be flying.

Previous work session

@Evan Janakievski

Added servos to the wings and fixed the trailing edges

Finished assembling the rear landing gear for Eclipse. Have on modification for this

Began to assemble Task 2 payload, which was finished on Monday

Bay cleanliness

@Evan Janakievski

  • The bay has been really messy this term so far

  • I wasn’t onsite for first half of term so it was difficult to monitor, but I have started to clean up a lot of mech items, which leadership should not be the only ones doing this

  • Please put away tools after using them and put items back to where they belong, either on the shelf or main table. Main table should be reserved for Peggy 1, 2, other drones, and Eclipse wings. The third table should be kept clear for other subteam work sessions

Eclipse frame stuff

@Evan Janakievski

  • Gussets were adjusted for the wings as the holes to mount the wings were not able to line up perfectly due to differences between model and fabricated version

  • Need to drill out or test these again, should be good to go before next week

Eclipse Landing gear

@Evan Janakievski

  • One last adjustment for rear landing gear, then both will be fully completed

Eclipse Wings

@Nathaniel Li

  • @Evan Janakievski and @Rohaan Vasa working on the gussets so wings fit

  • Some 3d prints on the wing broke and were glued back on by @Gabriel Singaraja

  • If anyone onsite sees that the wings aren’t on the table and out of way, please move them so they are safe

  • @Rohaan Vasa helped EE get the pitot tube and servo driver installed (3d printed mount to come)

  • More wing manufacturing to come once EE finishes wiring and testing

Comp Electronics

@Nathaniel Li

  • Raspberry Pi Cam mount was printed, thanks to @Khalil Ramzi and @Arnav Gupta for collaborating on this and thanks to @Rohaan Vasa for getting it printed

Comp Payload

@Alison Thompson / @Evan Janakievski

Assembled and needs ground testing → goal was to ground test today, update if completed
