Eclipse Landing gear

• Rohaan finished up the rear landing gear

  • It is at a new height now, we have a much larger angle of attack for take off now. this comes from the need for a tail dragger to have a high angle of attack for takeoff and landing

  • There will be a risk of that connection to the servo breaking on landing

    • Should be good after the modification made, as the new angle offers a possibility to land on front landing gear first

  • Ideally we have a smaller wheel for the rear landing gear

Eclipse Wings

• Harnessed and now wrapped

• The harness went through the end of the box-tube which was not the original plan, so we had to take some material off the box-tube so the connector had room when mounted

• Was the servo zero position fixed?

  • Servos were tested and are now properly set

  • Holes are patched

• Wings are tensioned

• Ailerons need filing/sanding to not rub against rib

Comp Payload

• Tank is finalized and ready for comp. Once printed, we'll add pieces of o-ring in the additional channels that were added around the bolt holes to prevent warping.

• Double pump mount is in progress, with the first iteration done. Now have to make mounting bolts more accessible.
