ZeroPilot Program

Assembly & Testing (Ethan)

• Waiting for ZP3 sync meeting to determine how much work/assistance is required from EE side

  • @Daniel Puratich to schedule this

• Once we determine what needs to be done, we can start assigning onsite members to Zeropilot tasks to be ready for competition

  • There will be validation and coordinating with EFS members in the future

ZP3 Sync Scheduling (Daniel)

• A weekly sync for the ZeroPilot 3.0 program including EFS & EE will be scheduled in the coming days

Purchase Orders (Ethan, Daniel)

• TME order blocked by customs payment, fixed today, connectors will come soon (we have connectors so this order is not critical)

Bootcamp Revamp (Michael, Kevin, Farris)

• Sync alongside Farris with Michael to go over layout & routing practices

• Good progress on component sourcing and Digikey section of bootcamp

• Trying to adjust bootcamp to meet the balance between Altium & EE theory!

  • Focusing on core ideas!

• Robson would be up to help test this out as it’s finishing up!

PCBs

24-12,5 Buck (Ethan, Michael)

• Ethan has brought boards and stencils into the bay

• Components are ordered from above procurement order

• Assembly scheduling will vary based on demand from other teams for other things though hoping to have this done in the coming weeks

12-5 Buck (Nolan)

• Sundry PCB design tasks to finish the board design up!

4S 30A Motor Controller (Muhammad)

5-24V Boost (Steven)

• @Daniel Puratich 1:1 to discuss this (Please ping me if I get caught up in stuff!!!)

• Stuck on making the micro USB footprint

12S Servo Module (Stanley, Michael, Rayyan)

• Pretty much finished finding components for buck IC, found components for current sense, can start putting other rest on components into Altium

  • Passives selected and will start putting them into Altium

• Overcurrent protection circuit and components added to Altium schematic

• Getting things into Altium is the next task

BMS (Kevin)

• Project will be put on hold till after bootcamp revamp and competition

Bootcamper Progress Updates

• Tom - Working on the current sense amplifier section, currently focused on finishing this as well as working on a Lidar firmware driver for the EFS team.

  • Midterms are done, Altium license is going

• Robson - Final few questions about buck converter, but otherwise completed. If possible meet in the coming week to review and complete onboarding.

  • Around to help out with onsite stuff

• @Jack Greenwood - Almost 95% done, will be submitting to Michael soon!

• William - Awaiting bootcamp review !

• Elion - Finished bootcamp today, send message to Michael today !
