Admin Preparation

Your status should read “submitted” when you submit the FTR to our Flight Test Coordinator.

Once the coordinator approves, and a date/location/drone has been assigned, the status will change to “waiting for sub team review”. Once all sub-teams have reviewed and signed off, the status will change to “approved”

Test #1: 6 Lipo Batteries Test

Prerequisite

Objective

Knock off Criteria

  • telem logging is working

  • batteries charged

  • battery monitor correctly configured

  • get the data of how long Pegasus could fly w/ 6 lipo

  • When battery drop down to 10% - 20%

  • get data

Procedure

  1. set an autonomous mission to command drone suspend in the air at desired spot in Mission Planner

  1. takeoff drone in auto

  1. wait and navigate the condition of battery health

  1. RTL

Test #2: 4 Lipo Batteries Test

Prerequisite

Objective

  • telem logging is working

  • batteries charged

  • get the data of how long Pegasus could fly w/ 4 lipo batteries

  • When battery drop down to 10% - 20%

  • get data

Procedure

  • rpi & camera mounted on Houston

  • Collect more landing pad imaged recorded from drone pov for autonomy landing pad detection algorithm training

  • autonomy call end of day

  • run out of time/batteries

 3. turn on rpi/camera

  1. run automission
