Peggy 2

Flight #1:

  • Took off to 10 m

  • Descended and attempted to get tubing in bucket

  • Filled bucket

  • Ascended and flew to empty bucket

  • Empty bucket tipped over from tubing and prop wash after a few attempts

    • Windy during this stage too

    • Altitude variance while in loiter and was descending

  • Ascended and came back towards full bucket

  • Emptied tank and timed

  • Landed

Flight #2:

  • Took off to 10 m

  • Moved to full bucket and filled tank

  • Ascended and moved to empty bucket

  • Descended and emptied tank into bucket

  • Ascended and came back to land

  • Landed

Timings for tanks:

Filling: 50-60 seconds

Emptying: 45 seconds

 

X500

Flight #1:

  • Took off and checked airframe in Loiter

  • With added weight, it was very sluggish and unresponsive

  • Hovered over IR beacon

  • Ascended altitude and did full stick deflections to see responsiveness

    • Requires tuning

  • Returned and landed

Error with decoding message for autonomy system
