INITIAL UPDATE
Lidar to be mounted on raised platform over pixhawk in the middle of the drone. Uses existing threaded M3 holes on Houston and M3 holes for the mount to the sensor. Potential for GPS to be in the FOV, attempting to make it in the Lidar’s blindspot. If not possible @Nathan Green is looking into ignoring a range in software. Due to the height of GPS it will be very sketchy to mount Lidar any higher than it.
