Task Description
This task provides an opportunity to learn how to use Ansys Fluent to perform CFD (computational fluid dynamics) simulations and extract valuable data out of it. It will entail running fluid simulations on the fixed wing at varying angles of attack, and possibly varying speeds as well, to estimate the lift and drag forces, along with forces imparted on the horizontal and vertical stabilizers by the air.
A simple version of Eclipse CAD is available. NOTE: The fuselage dimensions are not exact, and there is no landing gear. But this simplified model is a starting point for analysis.
Background with CFD is not required, but if you are interested in CFD and want to learn how to use Ansys then @Smile Khatri will work with you to run these simulations.
