- why am i mentioning things that won’t be features?
  - need to keep it simple and safe to get a functional first rev out fast
  - maybe this and other things could be implemented in the future long term in a future project but we just aren’t here yet as a team

  - external buck for 48V to 12V required for the first rev, one will be selected and linked below, plenty of options exist for this
- no CAN circuit
  - firmware is struggling with CAN Integration 2025
