  • Mount exists and needs to be put on drone

  • Shorten the downwards facing camera mount to reduce vibration

VTX Harnessing / RF

  • Get proper length RF cables for antenna

  • Antenna on bottom of cabin

  • Cameras interfere with door, redo harness to move video equipment to other side of drone (right side when looking at cameras)

  • Twist positive and negative power to video system to try eliminating noise, if that doesn’t work change the power source

  • Downwards facing camera is broken (green artifact in lens)

  • New cabin installed on Peggy 1

  • Peggy 2 frame will be done by Sunday, most of main frame is complete and new landing gear manufacturing is done

  • Just assembly of arms and waiting on curing epoxy for landing gears

  • New landing gear is on Pegasus 2 for now

  • For Pegasus 2 electronics cases needed are: PDB Case, ESC Cases, VTX Mount

Tracking Antenna - General

  • Compass BMX160 needs to be mounted on antenna tracker base, compass is in the box on top of the black plastic shelf unit

  • Spacer needs to be made and placed to keep sheet metal sides parallel

  • Drive gear on pitch needs to be adjusted to increase maximum angle by 30 degrees (remove, rotate, replace)

General Updates

  • We need to finalize a competition strategy. How many laps are we doing, and at what altitude? Which landing pad are we trying for in task 2?

  • Pegsus 2 is almost ready to be brought up with electronics, 810g with no arms

Flight test schedule

  • Book WRESTRC for this term (every saturday & sunday before comp if possible)

  • Target May 4th for Pegasus 1 return to flight (new cabin w/ passengers, battery shrouds, changed landing gear, possible recalibration)

  • Target May 11th for full E2E with comp config, failsafe tests, pilot training for landing. Target Pegasus 2 first flight.
