Purpose

This documentation is intended to give others more clarity on what Mechanical is working on and why our decisions were made. It will also allow us to keep track of project progress and updates.

How To Use

For Mech Leads/PMs:

Mechanical Leads and Project Managers will create subpages for any new components of their project and link them in the Components section of the table. The subpages should have all sections filled out before the task is assigned.

For Mech Members:

Assignees should update in a journal entry style format when any decisions/changes are made. For small changes, only a few sentences are necessary, for larger decisions/changes there should be a documented reason/thought process included in the entry. Entries are also to be added when “white-board conversations” happen or constraints are changed. For changing constraints, the person changing the constraint should write the entry. Add any relevant images and links as you go.
