Requirements

• whatever runs the code should support wifi and SSH so we can change the code it’s running easily

  • ESP8285 or old RPi come to mind here

• motion detector should detect if anyone is in the bay to change the lighting pattern accordingly.

  • gesture support would be cool

  • must not include an actual camera for privacy reasons

• current sensing to detect any anomalies with the LED sign

• do cool color schemes with the led sign

• replace the existing controller

• use a COTS 120VAC to 12V converter and barell jack connection
