Announcements

  • Flight test

    • @Maxwell Lou wrote logging script to test LTE connection

      • LTE didn’t disconnect - worked fine during flight test

      • Antennae was moved from top of drone to leg - fixed issues?

      • Logging script works

    • Request for flight testing

      • Testing pathing task 2 code, collecting landing pad images

      • Maybe 2 weeks from now

  • Competition interest form released

  • MEF presentations - March 4th

    • Looking for people in math faculty to present

  • New CV camera and raspberry pi 🎉

 

Autonomy Airside

  • Profiling full vs half precision code working, needs more testing and reviews

  • Merge data task created

  • Mission_Ended function done

 

Pathing

  • Task 1 architecture draft completed, a lot of new tasks created (and all assigned)

  • Stop condition task ready for PR review

 

LTE

  • Poll flight controller for drone approaching task unblocked

  • Common repository merged

  • Encoding image as AVIF format done

    • Need setup raspberry PI, and test encoder on it

    • Decode task will be assigned after image format encoders get profiled

 

ML Model

  • A lot of data cleaning tasks

  • Currently at 250 images, ideally we have 1k+. Hence the cleaning task and flight task
