    • Did not meet yet (want to find out if we are going to be using OpenHD or XBees which will be discussed with CV before meeting)

  • Continued to look into BLDC motor drivers designs, Avani’s motor research and Muhammad’s MOSFET research

    • Focusing more on learning about the hardware design at the moment, but will do more research into the firmware/control algorithms later

  • Going to do a comparison of the Xbees to OpenHD to have a more informed position when it comes time to discuss which to use

  • Start taking notes on BLDC motor controller design

  • Learn how to test/characterize a buck converter prior to Saturday

  • Update on SOC estimation research? What did Joe’s BMS chip do for SOC estimation?

    • Confirmed with Joe that his chip does not calculate SOC, it only gets the voltage of each cell and drains cells for balancing.

  • Going smoothly with learning how to read the MOSFET datasheet, will look into the videos for further research?
