  • Ground test bootcamp video is out in case you guys missed it: 2025_architecture_overview_and_ground_testing.mkv

  • Drone system integration (How to use the drone) presentation: System Integration Introduction W25

  • Someone needs to measure the past flight tests and how much distance the predicted points for landing pads are compared to real landing pad points: 2024-11-16 Houston Geolocation. KML Files are already there! Run Cluster estimation on those points if possible

  • Help out with more ground testing and tuning detect target! This is the final stretch and we need everyone’s help!

Upcoming Flight Tests

  • Mar 21, 2025 Test send MAVLink again

    • Last time our code failed, probably due to the GPS being unable to connect. Hopefully this time it’s better. The statustext groundside repo has been fixed to skip some system messages that somehow got through.

    • We will need ground testing done by Mar 20, 2025

    • We still need to go through and get better settings. The code to run tests is here: Discord - Group Chat That’s All Fun & Games

We recently learned that we can fly multiple drones simultaneously at comp

  • Test feasibility of controlling multiple drones at once with pathing

If feasible:

  • Modify search pattern generations to split area between drones

    • Tech design for this task will probably be a larger discussion for a different call

  • create a version of task 1 2025 for the drone swarm approach
