Phoenix

• Found metal arms from S22

• Schedule update: phoenix manufacturing done by reading week

• Schedule meeting for review phoenix lettucemeet - @Megan Spee mech/sysint

• Make a few more sets of metal arms

PID Tuning

• Only needs to work for Phoenix

  • Bearings in the sides of phoenix for pitch, roll

  • Stock phoenix with the boards/electrical equipment to find accurate COM

  • 3d adjustable brackets for the bearings/rods

• Source bearings for Phoenix - Megan, Conall

• Print model shell with corresponding anatomy

• Build a rig

New aircraft for 2023 comp!

• Meeting for this is on THURSDAY, final design idea for 28th. Mech can ideate/prototype before then

• Blimp is slow

• Barbie dolls don’t bend at the knees

• Source carbon fibre cheaper (arm design? square? making own carbon fibre?)

• Accurate altitude measurement, lidar over barometer(?)
