Groundside (Antenna tracker and IMACS)

Ground Control Station Integration 2025

  • Sysint

    • Create a large block diagram for IMACS hardware

    • Tracking antenna

      • No changes in past week

      • Potentially change baseplate size based on EE recommendations

      • Antenna wires don’t reach gemini board easily

      • Standoffs for gps/compass module

      • Positional servo instead of continuous rotation if possible

      • Wifi module mounting requirements are not strict

      • USB-C from seeduino powers servos when battery connected on current PCB (prevent this)

Pegasus

Big Quad 2025

    • 3 motors, 1 pixhawk ordered for Pegasus 2

    • Get Pegasus 2 in the air by the end of the term

    • Waterproofing initial CAD design is complete

    • M9Ns need to be moved for waterproofing

    • Geolocation is working, needs testing on houston

    • Need some way to shut off the autonomy, physically disconnect the raspberry pi
