Landing/Takeoff 

  • Prioritize spars under wings for quadcopter, if damage = bad

  • Possible tricopter? 

  • Hatch idea

    • Landing gear with suspension

Sensors

  • LiDAR could help greatly increase accuracy  for pad selection, landing et cetera have funding for anyways

  • 2 cameras (forward and downward facing) 

 

Form factor 

  • Fixed Quad Combo -> helps keep things consistent across tasks (quad helps takeoff & landing)

  • 2 metres wingspan 

  • Packing factor to get to comp  

 

Packing people 

  • Could pack people in a circle formation 

  • Or L shape

 

Battery 

  • Hydrogen fuel cells as battery system for drone? (But is lighter -> can choose how heavy we want)

  • 2 large batteries (consensus) 

 

Other:

  • Autopilot fallback
