Issues with camera settings caused problems with imaging
Ground tests need to be better organized and software to be better proven ahead of time
We accomplished this towards the end of the F24 term, so not sure why the culture of sufficient ground tests is no longer present?
Push towards ground testing for onsite PM (try balcony, reduce reflection)
Use outdoor to calibrate the settings as indoor lighting is not bright enough
Camera does not need to be mounted on to houston to do a ground test, can just have it plugged in and support it to make sure ribbon cable is not damaged, but for future tests Mech will be able to install camera earlier than this past week
Push to test by this weekend
File corruption issues affected multiple files during the flight test. Some files (and logs) would appear as 0 bytes. Still investigating why this happens. – Evan Zhao
The workers broke during some flights, but not during others. That is my fault, I should have more rigorously ground tested before the flight test. – Evan Zhao
As shown below in an example image taken from the IR camera, it’s detecting snow (which is cold) as white! I thought it’s supposed to detect heat as white? – Evan Zhao
Set exposure (as fast as possible) and ISO manually for next time
Houston instability in stabilize mode, flew in loiter which was not drifting nearly as much

Mavlink almost ready, merged in today/tomorrow
Holy bro kit is built, thanks to Manasva, and is currently being worked on to be configured which will allow it to begin to be tuned
@Manasva Katyal is driving the tuning for this airframe
Next steps general calibration, compass, first flight (target this weekend/after reading week)

CADing rn - design update will be done and ready for review tonight
Need to send out a purchase req for a second new pump
Will need to waterjet new poly-carb, rest of changes will be 3D prints
