Remaining Items Big Picture:

  1. Schematic, footprints and component selection are done

  2. Routing needs to be done and general component placements

  3. Follow up with Daniel on the comments he left in Altium

 

Component Placement:

a. Confirm if pads will be used over XT90s

If this is the case then determine the size of the power pads and where they will be located.

b. Confirm if both sides of the board can be used especially given the 30x30 mounting requirements.

 

Additions:

  1. Given the possibility of pads being used instead of XT90s, this means that there is no mechanical reverse polarity protection. In this case, will reverse polarity protection circuit be implemented?

  2. Would be nice to have status indicator LEDs

  3. Board cooling? Engineering analysis needs to be done to determine if the board needs to be cooled.
