Active PCB Projects

High Current Power Module (Zen, Taim, Steven)

  • Zen handed off to Taim and Steven

  • Figuring out next steps (4 layer vs 2 layer, component layout, etc)

12S ESC (Ethan, Chris)

  • No progress this week

  • Goal for next meeting is to generate FOC firmware will all board parameters inputted into Workbench

6S ESC (Mena, Rayyan)

  • Continuing component selection

  • Component selection deadline for this weekend but will probably be updated

LED Controller (Neel, Parker)

  • Sync maybe on Sunday (maybe work session)

  • Planning on having directors + ee-lead sync to discuss conops stuff for better knowledge of use case (sunday?)

ELRS Gemini (Michael, Farris)

  • FM: PCBs ordered from JLC and in production!

Drone Battery PCB (Farris)

  • FM: Didn’t get a chance to work on this, swamped w/ schoolwork

  • Aiming to work on schematic over weekend, nail out mechanical form factor over next week

PDB (Tom)

  • Chose PMOS for RPP, was down with a sore throat fever for 4 days, but will get back on component selection for peripherals.

Tracking Antenna (Nolan, Hardy)

  • Component selection complete

12S Servo Module (Stanley, Jack, Jerry)

  • Stanley: Nothing to add, will try to contribute more to the project in the coming week

  • Jerry: I reduced the board size to 30x30, aiming to get placement reviewed again this weekend

  • routing by next EE meeting ideally (+ review)
