  • Began working on path following, now just a matter of testing it

  • Commented out SPI code looks like it’ll work - hopefully it can be tested

• Goal: Having plane circle autonomously in 2 weeks

• Figuring out how to train ML Model

  • gotta look at tents!

  • Model must classify tents vs non-tents

  • approach 1: internet pictures

  • approach 2: email tent rental company for aerial photos

  • approach 3: use warg test and take videos

  • goal: get 500-1000 photos

  • also plan to have a backup system in case training doesnt work

• Geolocation - assuming no LIDAR

  • Could use Radar, Microwave, IR instead

  • option 2: no distance sensor used. use math instead - will talk to chris about that
